The society is set up around 4 poles:
The Corporate Relations & Sponsorship team is in charge of external organisations. They contact and secure the diverse speakers' participation in events set up by the association to discuss a data related subject. Speakers can range from companies, government officials, NGOs, and so on.
The team is also in charge of securing sponsorship agreements with external organisations and ensuring they get the exposure they deserve.
The content creation team creates and selects content published by the association through its various communication channels. They are constantly on the lookout for the best content to be shared with the association’s members. This includes communication on organized, weekly news topics relevant to the discussions, monthly book clubs and partnerships with other companies.
The Data Project team leads the organisation of student events. Their strong envy to share and explore new data-related topics ensures that the association constantly has something new to share with its members. Events are masterclasses on a technical topic (e.g. Python 101), use cases of data science in new areas (data science & arts), student debates on data-related topics, tech application support (e.g. CV check, mock interviews), medium-term data science projects and networking events with like-minded, students.
The operations team is vital to ensure the smooth running of the society and its activities.
